After months of careful planning and a day full of ceremony are behind you, celebrating your love with family and friends out on the dance floor is the perfect ending. Kingston disc jockeys Daniel “Chico” Good and Bob “the Machine” Machin have approximately 50 years of combined experience in providing quality entertainment in the Kingston area.

“We really enjoy meeting the different mix of people at weddings. After the first dance, then the pressure is off and it is time to cut loose and that is what we are there for,” says Bob.
Chico and Bob, who have been good friends for a long time, decided to share their music knowledge and experience by combining forces three years ago for their disc jockey service, Chico & the Machine.

Bob says that booking their services between six to eight months before a wedding is a good idea. Both partners understand that the memories made at weddings last forever, and they like to pay particular attention to providing a personalized service.

“We meet with the couple and listen to what they want to hear, offer up suggestions, and guide them through the process,” says Chico. “We also encourage them to send us a list of songs that their friends like and songs that remind them of the good times.”

Chico and Bob have a wide selection of music and update their collection monthly with the latest releases. They play individually for the Hub Group at a number of Kingston clubs, and together have provided entertainment at such places as Queens University, The Royal Military College, Portsmouth Olympic Harbour and the Cataraqui Golf and Country Club.

Chico and The Machine has attended the Fly FM Bridal Fair for the last 4 years.
